I believe that pet lovers really try to do the best for their beloved animals. Many times the care we give our pets is lacking because of not enough information or bad info. A lot of the bad information we get is from big corporations using their marketing ploys on us.
The biggest bad marketing is for pet food. Pets are not supposed to eat by-products, corn, fillers and all the other junk in the bags of mass produced pet foods. Pictures of grain, chicken, fruits and vegetables does not mean our pets are getting those things in the package of food. Reading the ingredients isn't always easy either.
Did you know that certain health conditions can be helped with special attention to the pet's food? It's not too difficult to find a food with limited ingredients (limited but good) for the dog with ear infections. Or foods that offer relief to the dog with digestive problems.
The important thing to remember is to feed your pet a natural healthy food. Holistic pet food is the best way to add years to your pet's life and manage some health problems they may already have.
